who i is.

I am a design researcher  / interaction designer / IDSA representative / contributing editor for interactions magazine / fun-maker and chronically curious person. I spend my days learning about people, their stuff, how they interact with their stuff, and how they would like to interact with their stuff. Then I design stuff based on the stuff I learned, or help other companies design stuff, themselves.  It’s the most magical thing ever. I whole-heartedly believe that through understanding and creativity, we can derive solutions for difficult problems that enable people to make meaningful changes for the better – both personally and socially.

I live in Austin, Texas.  I used to live in Phoenix, then I lived in Savannah, then in New York, and then in Columbus.
